In a thrilling turn of events, the Pitthoragarh police and the Special Operations Group (SOG) successfully solved a perplexing crime within a remarkable 24-hour timeframe. The incident unfolded deep within the dense jungles of Ghorpatta, captivating the attention of both investigators and the local community.

On May 13, 2023, a lifeless woman's body was discovered, sending shockwaves through the tranquil surroundings. The Didihaat police swiftly launched an investigation, appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the victim.

Days later, a breakthrough occurred when a relative named Sanjay Singh came forward. He revealed that the deceased woman was Heera Devi, the wife of Harlal Singh from the peaceful village of Fulatdi. According to Sanjay, Heera Devi had embarked on a journey to attend a nearby wedding but never reached her destination, leaving her family devastated.

Further examination of Heera Devi's body revealed the absence of her jewelry, suggesting a robbery gone wrong. The Didihaat police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), intensifying their search for the culprit.
